So March Madness has begun and I am surprisingly excited to watch some basketball. These games are played with so much passion and the players are not in it to make a lot of money so its fun to watch. I however can tell you I am not a true fan yet because the people that live here and do love their basketball will only pick one team they like (UNC, NC STATE, OR DUKE) and will definitely not route for any other team in the area... that is their worst enemy! Ha! I however am just excited to see one of them or all go for it!
Other things new in our life is that we are carrying around what looks like an epi pen in a way; a shot to stop a seizure. This is the new life for us... ready for CJ to have a seizure at any moment. We have been to see a specialist this month and Richard and I both really liked the doctor, he answered all our questions, and we are going for an EEG with CJ in two weeks. This test will tell us if its anything more than just febrile seizures. Then just terrifying her mother and father, the seizures have not seemed to have any long term affect on CJ and for that I am so grateful. She is such a sweet little one who I think is the smartest child in the world... am I really becoming one of those moms! Its fun with her learning new words each day. She is our little performer, she loves to dance and sing. She also loves her little brother and has started calling him "Mic-a" this past week.
We have been soooo extremely blessed the past two months by so many different people giving us some kind of financial blessing. This has been so encouraging to us as we also have been getting crazy hospital bills daily in the mail. (For those of you who don't know, not only have we had to take CJ to the er a couple times already this year... Richard went himself in Feb and was diagnosed with Diverticulitis) God has made it clear to us that through the fire of the past few months He is our Provider and He has us right were He wants us and the devil just does not like it and keeps throwing darts our way.
Learning that God is~ Completely Sovereign, Infinite in Wisdom and Perfect in Love.
"Our Suffering in under the control of an all powerful and all loving God; our suffering has meaning and purpose in Gods eternal plan, and He brings it or allows it to come into our lives only that which is good for His glory and good" (Trusting God- Jerry Bridges)
v22 "Because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your Faithfulness! I say: The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him."
v32 "Even if He causes suffering, He will show compassion according to His abundant faithful love. For He does not enjoy bringing suffering on mankind."
v37 "Who is there who speaks and it happens, unless the Lord has ordained it? Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?"
