I Brake for Yard Sales!

Once a year a neighborhood here in Wake Forest that seems to encompass half of Wake Forest has a yard sale.  So a friend and I met up this weekend had some breakfast and had a great time driving around laughing at what crazy things people are selling. And I looked like a fool at times trying to make everything fit in the car! Here are just a few of the sweet deals I got:   

THE FIND OF THE DAY!!! I got this Sit'n'Stand for only 5!!!!!!!  The lady was practically throwing it in my car because she said she just wanted to get rid of things, I was not going to argue with her!!!

Got a multipurpose shelf for our multipurpose room... to hold all the toys but also to block off the gas fireplace that CJ likes to play around.  One day we will have a play room, but for now we have a living room/office/play room all in one.  PS... got the shelf for $10!

Found a dad selling kids clothes...  I asked him how much for the shoes he said a dollar!!!!  He does not even know what kind of deal he gave me!!!!  Note to self:  Look for clueless dads at yard sales!!!! :)

I found a teacher selling all kinds of fun stuff that had not even been opened and picked up some fun counting manipulatives for only .50 each to have fun with the kiddos and some books and movies.  Also got an office chair, some outfits for CJ and I think altogether I only spent $30!!!

We will definitely make the Heritage Yard Sale a tradition!
