THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!!!!!!!!! ~ I don't know who is more excited... Richard or I that he is about to begin the last semester of Seminary and Graduate in MAY with his Masters of Divinity!!! YAY!!
But don't get me wrong there are a lot of emotions going on here... Thoughts of though this has often felt like our "Wilderness" experience and has held some of the darkest times in our lives; we have also had so many sweet days and our lives have been full of blessings~ I'm sure we will look back and not remember the hard days but remember that special day when~
~I woke Richard up in the middle of the night jumping up and down on the bed telling him the pregnancy test I had just taken said I was Pregnant after five long years of waiting!!
~That Forth of July when the West Oak crew all piled in two cars to go see the Fireworks and then one broke down on the way back and a drunk old man tried to fix it... and we all knew we would be friends forever!
~We had no idea how we were going to pay for school, contemplated packing it up and going home, and Richard came home and said someone from the financial aid called and his school bill has been paid in full by an anonymous donor.
~We heard the first cry's of our children...
~We made life long friends who are now or will be soon scattered across the Globe
I'm sure I could keep going, these are just a few of the many days/ memories I will carry close to my heart... We look back and see how God brought us here and has sustained us and through the Many fiery darts of the enemy He has held us close to Him. We are forever changed and have grown so much in our walk with the Lord.
We are excited AND terrified.. ha ha.. for What He has for us in the near future. Terrified I guess is not really the right word... but maybe... at times... because We have NO idea yet what the future holds. Please be in Prayer for us as we seek the Lord and desire to continue to Follow in Obedience wherever He leads us!
So excited for you both! I have no doubt that God has something wonderful in store for your future. Holly, you were one of the first at West Oak to welcome me when I moved in and I will always remember your kindness! Richard was also a good friend to me also in our classes. It's been fun watching your babies growing up, too. Enjoy the rest of the journey toward your new beginning!
