We Wait~
Its hard to wait no matter if your 2 or 32~ And while I teach my two year old that while you wait for something its not good to pitch a fit~ I'm reminded that I too need to practice peace and trust in my Heavenly Father.
Psalm 33:20-22
We WAIT for the Lord;
He is our Help and Shield
For our Hearts REJOICE
In HIM
... because, we TRUST His Holy Name
May your FAITHFUL LOVE rest on us Lord
For we put our hope in you!
I had some kind of vision in my head that the day after Graduation from Seminary we would have a moving truck packed and off to do ministry. But that is just not how the story goes for us. For now we wait and we are truly enjoying having family time right now~ for the first time since the kiddos Richard is just able to come home from work and just play all evening and not be worried about reading a book or a paper he needs to write. And when the kids go to bed we have enjoyed having time to just spend together~ last week it was a Duck Dynasty marathon.
If you know us well or have just taken time to read this blog you know that we have waited before for blessings... and here we go again... we wait for the Lord to move us to what is next now that Seminary is over~ we could get a phone call that could change our lives this week... or three months from now. We have no idea if this means staying close to Wake Forest or planting our feet in the far unknown. The Lord has shown us His Faithful Love over and over again and there is no doubt He will continue to Lead us. "There have been scares and struggles on the way but with Joy our hearts can say~Never once did we ever walk alone! Never once did He leave us on our own! God you are Faithful!"
